My Portfolio

Many people who have followed me for years may be a little confused with the different websites I have created.  In the past I have only used one website (Golden Star Photo) in which I hosted all my work ranging from pets, to community events and personal projects and it was becoming a little crowded.

I have since created http:// www.pawscausepetphotography.com where I can specialize in pet photography and will use this blog at goldenstarphoto.com as a way to share more of my personal journey. For tax purposes all product and galleries will still be hosted on paws cause and a percentage of all sales are donated to a charity of your choice, or a worthwhile charity that we support.  There will be other blogs in the future as to which organizations we support.  Would you like to be considered?  Send me an email and I will be in contact with you to discuss it further.

I hope this clears up any confusion as to what happened to all the past galleries I have shot.  They are still available. If you need help finding them let me know.

About Me

Life is precious and fragile.  There are only a few guarantees in life. You are born, and you will die.  What you do with the time in between is for the most part up to you once you reach adulthood.  My job as a photographer is the best.  I get to capture those moments in between birth and death.  I get to preserve the memories you create so that others can treasure them with you while you’re alive…… and celebrate you when you’re gone.

My name is Doug, and I’m a professional photographer. I am a graduate of New York Institute of Photography and a member of Professional Photographers of America. (PPA) I hope to use my training and love of photography to take you along on a journey, a journey of life; the good and the bad.

I also have a love for animals.  I have created my business so that I can provide you with the best quality photography at reasonable prices and at the same time raise money and awareness to help animals in need. I want to make a difference in people’s and animals lives, to help, to teach, to inspire.  I hope you will follow along on my journey.
